My name is Samantha, and I’m a postpartum doula on a mission to make sure women receive the postpartum care they deserve. I want you to feel prepared, grounded and confident throughout your childbirth recovery and postpartum journey. You deserve to be honoured, and I am here with deep support to be sure that you are.

The idea that women become mothers seamlessly is a romanticised notion of this transition, in reality discovering yourself in motherhood and learning how to parent can be messy, frustrating, and chaotic. This guide isn’t a means of diminishing those emotions - they’re a valuable rite of passage because they lead to revelation, resilience, and growth. Rather, the following rituals are ways to help you help yourself. They’re no substitute for the village of support you also need and deserve but they’re a means of finding calm and creating rhythm during a time that can feel unpredictable.
